am in shanghai right now. we are staying in the cannells' home because they're still in illinois for the summer. i have nothing better to do, so i'm just fooling around with xanga, because i haven't used it for about... a million years. just wanted those people i know on xanga to know that i'm still alive, and i do miss using this.

sorry i haven't updated my xanga in such a friggin' long time. it does not work on my computer anymore. strange, huh? if you are still interested in reading my crazy musings (most likely not), you can visit my livejournal: www.livejournal.com/users/raven_and_gold. It doesn't have a guestbook, isn't as pretty as my xanga profile, but it is something.

my lj contains crazy musings by me, a poem dedicated to my friend, uh... (goes and reads the lj site), a bunch of disclaimers (ok, ok, not THAT many!), an R.B.T.Y.C.D.T.G.T.L.A.Y (you have to go to the site to see what that is all about :D), and me raving about david wenham. if you want to know about all these, please feel free to click the lj link.

right now, i am in bangkok and having a good time. i am in love with the place and i would hate to leave it.

btw, i just watched the brothers grimm (matt damon, heath ledger) last night. it's something like van helsing, only scarier. and it doesn't contain dracula or carl or van helsing. it isn't too bad, really.

i made a mistake. so sue me--ozzy osbourne

A Day Without Rain

today i went out with zhixin and lucia and hui ping. we went to the school for their examination results and then went to kfc for lunch. after which we went to some market where they were selling cheap cds for only S$7 (do your own conversion). i bought enya: a day without rain. it's the kind of music that makes you relax.

i haven't much to say because i don't.

a lot of girls were crying at the school today. zhixin did quite well with two a's and two b's. i am proud of her but her mum and her aunt are quite disappointed. they were kinda lashing out at her (so i exaggerate): "why didn't you do better? your scores are so low!" and the stuff.

xanga stinks! they won't let you put skins on your blog unless you actually pay them! that stinks stinks stinks stinks. i tried doing a skin (a very nice one) called the never ending road. it is so pretty!

so zhixin and i tried blogspot. they wouldn't let music but they would allow skins. this is my link: www.silverembers.blogspot.com. nothing is on it 'cause i'm trying to feel my way around. yeah.

anyway, i hope that all of you are having a better day because i feel kind of tired and stuff like that. and besides... i have CHINESE TOMORROW! AH!!

ergo, terra, stella, hiems et aestas/ergo, autumnus et tempus vernum/ergo, radius solis et umbra, ignis, aqua/caelum, luna, terra, stella/hierns et aestas, autumnus et tempus vernu--enya

translation: therefore, earth, star/winter and summer/therefore, autumn and spring time/therefore, ray of the sun and shade, fire, water/sky, moon, earth, star/winter and summer/autumn and spring time...

not bad. you get to learn a bit of latin on my page.
